Glad you said this Zaris as you know I would've said, "I didn't know the game has a sexual orientation..." but I was in class.

I hope you have learned and other MiceChatters will learn from this as well. Be careful with what you say and how you say it.

Also, the discussion Reputation is against Rules and Regulations. Please read up on it, especially if you haven't already done so.

All in all, I'm glad that some of you have gone outside of the MiceChat VMK section because there is much more that MiceChat has to offer besides that.

i just read the thread. that wasn;t cool,, u apologized u learned your lesson! but u were critizized and critizized and critizized some more it seem like their attacks YOU would never stop although some of us were saying some not so good things.. astually we did say alot of things that were not very nice. other people were saying things worse than zaris and they are still green! i just wanted to say that it wasnt a good rmark to make but they way people reacted was just overwhelming!

well we did learn a lesson from all this - we belong onthe blue side~ jk

Yes there are many bad people out in this world, and we all have different vocab. One of my friends posted this and i suggest you all read it, i will not post the name

And also, I just read the whole thread where Zaris made a mistake. I, myself, know that teens have their own vocabulary, and like it or not, some words in the vocabulary, aren't what adults like to hear. Perhaps it is just because they aren't teenagers, and even though they were once our age, they must remember that they grew up in a whole different time. It may of just been a few decades ago, but really, in terms of the way we act, it was ages ago. Like it or not, "gay" is part of our vocabulary, and although I never use this term, whenever I hear someone using it I don't think, "OMG! That person is being mean to poor gay people!", I think, "He/She said gay, big deal." When a teen says somehtings gay, they aren't being mean or stupid, they are just doing what they were taught to do. And the biggest reason of them all? KIDS JUST WANT TO FIT IN. PERIOD.

So, what I'm trying to say is, it isn't Zaris' fault, he was just being himself, and being a teen, so please respect that.

All is true, and we cant do anything about it. Next time i suggest say, That is rather mean, please watch what you say next time

To be frank, I think the main problem was the off-topicness. Also, I think everyone learned a lesson!

I propose that if more VMK board people go into the "outside of the blue" area and post, that are good friends here do the same with the VMK board. Let's all just be one, and learn to enjoy all of MC (because it is the best site ever)!

I don't care how they spell on the blue side, I almost never go there... just as long as they spell correctly on the "yellow" side, we're all good

Correcting minor things (such as not replacing the word "have" with "of" just because the contraction sounds like it, such as "It may have just been a few decades...") goes a long way.

Correcting major things, like being big enough to apologize when you've made a mistake, go even further. Zaris, kudos to you for having the cajones to own up to your mistakes. Looks like you're back in the green, so I'm guessing you've gone back into your regularly scheduled forum already.
