Which is better, DL or DCA?

Ok, it all comes down to this, which is better, Disneyland or California Adventure. I would have to say Disneyland personaly.

you're kidding right...without the poll I can tell you the majority of the people on this sight will choose dl and then go into all kinds of detail about why they hate DCA....no poll needed...LOL

While DCA is fun and does have some nice attractions there really is no comparison between the two parks. Disneyland is the real deal, every theme park around the world pretty much gets compared to Disneyland, it is pretty much the gold standard of theme parks (or was some would sadly say)

DCA was created because previous management somehow had 1 billion to spend and probably some friends in the construction business. Now it looks like it is going to take another few hundred million to turn it into a viable park. Currently the vast majority of guests visiting DCA are Annual Pass holders and not paying daily admission into DCA. There is just not enough at the park to warrant a single day trip for most tourists, although I do really enjoy many features of the park such as the wine It still has a long way to go in its development of theming, ambiance and attractions before it could even be close to compared to Disneyland.

Personally I don't think it's even a valid question. You really can't compare them as they aren't even in the same playing field. The only common feature is they were created by Disney. Not the same type of park, not the same direction, not the same level. You just can't compare and say which is better because it isn't possible. I could site a whole slew of shortcommings I see in DCA, but I still enjoy my time there, away from the crowds of DL on some of the most inventive rides ever designed and one of the best roller coasters in existence anywhere on Earth. I wish it did have a more cohesive theme, but really, my enjoyment in DCA is just as much as in DL, but for different reasons.

i don't know. at first, i really really liked dca better. just because i like the atmosphere .. not many little kids running around, etc. and i loved the aladdin musical and the rides and performaces there.

then i became an AP and went to dland more and i didn't realise how much more there is there lol.

i'm neutral lol.
