The stories coming out about the horrible Turpins (who imprisoned their children in Perris California), has been focusing on their "preoccupation" with Disneyland. Does this topic have the potential to tarnish Disneyland and the Walt Disney Company?

I can find no news source that mentions the Turpins being "preoccupied" with Disneyland. News sources have only mentioned that the Turpins visited Disneyland with their 13 children, and took pictures there.
Please provide a link to any news source that says the Turpins were "preoccupied" with Disneyland.
(And to answer the question of the thread title: No, there is no reason for Disney to "push back" against the Turpins.)
"Disneyland is often called a magic kingdom because
it combines fantasy and history, adventure and learning,
together with every variety of recreation and fun,
designed to appeal to everyone."
- Walt Disney
"Disneyland is all about turning movies into rides."
- Michael Eisner
"It's very symbiotic."
