Speaking of not being able to read very well, that article is out of date -- it clearly says the latest data in the study was May 6. It has since been supplanted by newer research.

He's trying to use the article to support his agenda that the danger of COVID has been hyped out of proportion by the news media, who he claims to have a politically-and economically-driven motive to frighten the public. The irony is that after repeatedly dismissing the authority of medical science, he now tries to use it to support his agenda.

We all know MR. Wig LOVES himself some articles, but it is now clear that he has no REAL concept of how publishing a study works despite his attempts to place himself on the throne of intellectual discussion.

Clearly, Covid is not as deadly as all you fear mongers want it to be. I know you want everyone to curl in the fetal position like you, but numbers (even the ones you gaslight or want to believe don’t exist) say it’s not deadly for a huge, huge portion of the population.

And Mr. Wig, you’re correct that I believe the media has blown it all out of proportion for the reasons you state, but you must keep falling off of that Superior Intellect throne you sit on because I’ve never dismissed medical authority. However, I HAVE highlighted that many medical authorities sometimes claim opposing facts with regard to Covid and it has caused mass confusion. So when nut job democrats, like you, let your totalitarianism show, (you’ve made it clear you want shut up all opposing voices) by demanding all others cave to what YOU think they should, I think it is important to ask questions and point our opposing arguments.

Here's my grade for Mister Sarge's trolling attempt:


1) Make outrageous unsupported claims.

This is rule #1 for trolling and it was done so well here that I can't even offer any advice on how to improve it. 10/10

2) Post links to articles that refute your point, but then claim that they support your point.

This is a classic technique to make it seem like there is evidence to support your argument. It works quite well because people generally don't read the articles in the link. 8/10

3) Avoid personal attacks.

It's important to avoid personal attacks since that makes your trolling effort seem like a personal grudge. I have to give a low grade here. 2/10

4) Be persistent

No trolling effort succeeds unless you relentlessly express your viewpoint again and again in spite of evidence that refutes it. High marks 10/10.

Overall: 7.5/10
An excellent effort, but there is definitely room for improvement.
