Complaining about cancel culture isn't necessarily rightwing crazy talk - some Democrats have done the same, including Barack Obama, de facto leader of the Democratic Party, who's made some of the same points Dtimeisnow made in the very post you're condescending to.

No, not necessarily, I agree -- there are many reasonable and intelligent ways to discuss the topic.

I am not sure that Barack Obama is currently the de facto leader of the Democratic party (if a single leader exists, and I am not confident one does, one imagines it would be Joe Biden?) and I'm not sure that Barack Obama interjects long screeds about how "stupid" the "woke crowd on social media" is into discussions that have nothing to do with it and where nobody asked, but let's agree to disagree.
