Not to be impolite--I'm sure he's a great guy--but what has Steve Martin done to be a Disney Legend?

I have a feeling that she is saving that for part 2 of the story.

Sounds like an interesting day Sue, thank you for sharing. Can't wait to hear the rest.

I got so choked up at the end of this article- How do you manage to do that every time Sue?

I wish I had known about this, we missed the ceremony by a day but it sounds like it was quite amazing!

              Re: 9/26: Giving Due...

Some very good reporting, Sue. Thanks so much for sharing the experience. When I started reading I was wondering if there were any friends of mine on the list this time around and was so pleased to see Milt Albright named.

I worked closely with Milt over a number of years and always enjoyed his down to earth style and work ethic. My last contact with him was at Ron Dominguez's retirement party in the DL Hotel Ballroom where I was seated with Milt at the same table. It was a great evening of chat over dinner since we were both retired for several years at that time and had lost contact.

                Re: 9/26: Giving Due...

Thanks for the great info on the new Disney Legends. I went to the handprint ceremony because my math professor's father is none other than Chuck Boyajian. I couldn't get in to the Opera House for the presentation, so thanks on the report from there. I was a bit disappointed at how they handled the crowd watching in the rain--there was no opportunity for us to get a clear picture nor did they tell us who the legends giving their handprints were. I'm still glad I was there that day, and I am greatly appreciative that you were able to provide that which I missed. Thanks a lot!

In fact Steve Martin worked in Frontierland for 8 years!!

I looked at the whole list of ledgens and was suprised to see Phil Collins - didn't he just do the one movie for Disney???
