  • 9/30: Hong Kong Disneyland - Part III

Guest columnist Alain Littaye offers an exclusive interview with executive show producer Tom Morris. A Super-Panorama shot of Hong Kong's Fantasyland is included as a special bonus! Discuss it all here.

Interesting...Tom didn't have a whole lot to say about Fantasyland...though the Panorama shot was aswome!
I also like how 2006 and 2007 have 4 different small attractions planned.

The area that looks like the Tivoli Gardens is a neat touch. I'm a little curious about this park. I'd like to see it someday.

Fantasyland looks great! Thanks for the panoramic shot. Looks like that park is well on its way to becoming like Tokyo Disney. Also the Autopia Electric? Woowwww, that is exciting.

Hopefully they can bring that here Disneyland in Anahiem.

I love Tom Morris' comments about upcoming attractions:
"Now, we've already decided on smaller attractions that will open up in 2006 and 2007, and the only one that's been announced so far is the "Autopia," the first "all-electric" Autopia. In addition there will be three or four smaller attractions in the next two years, that will bring to the park a variety of different guest needs, such as interactivity and high-tech technology, and that sort of thing. But we have not decided yet which of the bigger attraction we are going to do for 2008, 2009 or 2010. Certainly a few of the favorite ones are the ones which are the most discussed."

Any rumors or ideas about these other attractions we could be seeing soon.
Maybe there will be a second new attraction (other than Autopia) openning in Tomorrowland, as suggested by the previews on Laughing Place?

          Upcoming Trips:
Tokyo Disney Resort 20-22 January 2011

Thanks Alain. I'm on my way to Hong Kong Disneyland in just a few hours. I really appreciate all the great information you have given us.

Do you have a favorite restaurant in the park?
