Why doesn't Bob Iger want to be in pictures like that?

        7 photos?

You put about as much effort into this anniversary as Disney did!

I think we can put the '55 55th anniversary behind us in a couple days... after July 17th, you wouldn't even know the park was celebrating an anniversary. Bob Iger is just a squirrel trying to get a nut, he seems to have no genuine interest in Disneyland (or Disney's) history and doesn't belong as the leader of a company with such a rich and beautiful past.

7 commonplace pictures... April 1st already?

The photos may be sparse and "commonplace" but they still underscore the vast, uncrossable chasm between those days and the present in so many ways.

Unfortunately, for the moment, the world is ruled by the "Igers".

I very much enjoyed those shots, though I had seen most of them before. It is always nice to see photos of Walt enjoying his Land.

Because then we'd be asking, "Who does he think he is: Walt Disney??"

What must it have been like to meet him? The pic of the guests with Walt signing autographs is pretty amazing. One can only hope that we'll have a president of Disneyland that will one day respect the legacy left by Walt as much as they do Wall Street.
