  • Nice Column Kevin!

Your dedication to your readers really paid off this time. I hope you had a nice recovery after the marathon. Kudos for making it across the finish line!
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

It didn't sound too fun. What I really want to know is WHY does it smell so bad backstage?

Thank you! And thanks to all others in this thread!

My pal talked me into the full marathon. And tonight I bought a treadmill. I'm really going for it!

In a word, dumpsters. This is true of DLR in CA too!

Can't you smell the sewers from backstage too? Because you can certainly smell them onstage. There are some places you just know to avoid. Yick.

haha maybe by sewers you mean storm drains? Cause the ones at DL are so small that they back up and then whatever goes down there stays down there forever and then if it was alive then it dies and then it smells REALLY bad and they put orange stuff in there to make it MAGICAL AGAIN.

Uhhh, I don't know what they are. I just know they're very smelly holes in the ground.

                Orange stuff, eh?

Back stage because it is "back" stage... dumpsters, trash, motorvehicles moving around.....

BGT has the same effect in some areas......

Yes, I agree with everyone......nice article.

Speaking of Kevin, some time ago, I LEGALLY downloaded a PeopleMover video he put online. Well, I lost it. Is it still out there, somewhere? It was the best video I've seen of the PeopleMover.

                              Stank

I ran the full 2005 WDW marathon last weekend and was DISGUSTED by the smells between miles 14 and 16. The water treatment plant just destroyed my focus on breathing because I was trying to breathe as little as possible!
