  • R.I.P. Mickey Rooney

    Mickey Rooney died on Sunday, April 6th, 2014 at 93 years of age. He starred in many movies, most notably "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "National Velvet" but also starred in many Disney films including "Pete's Dragon" and provided the voice of Tod in "The Fox and the Hound".

    Rest in peace Mr. Rooney, you will be missed...

      He was one of the best keepers of history on the Golden Age of Hollywood. He knew everybody and experienced so much.
      My favorite movie of his was The Black Stallion.

        R.I.P. voice of Todd from Fox and the Hound, Nicholas from The Care Bears, and the narrator in The Magic Voyage.

          With all the joking aside, Mickey's performances over the years were phenominal.

          When was his last film performance? I know he was in The Muppets (2011)

              My sister was adopted as an older child by my parents. However, before she was adopted, she and her family knew Mickey Rooney very well and would see him on an almost weekly basis. She never had anything but praise for him and his kindness to her and her family. She is absolutely devistated by his passing.
