How awesome! Welcome!"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. "Groucho Marx

Welcome! I have enjoyed this website for a long time. Thanks for the great article Mrs. Kruse!1st Amendment-Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Re: 10/13: Yesterland's Future
Wow! This is AWESOME News (that you will be linked to Yesterland)! My biggest "fear" about changing Tom Sawyer's Island (TSI) to Jack Sparrow's Island (JSI) is that it's a trendy thing now. A great example is one that was cited in the article - The Tahitian Terrace. That place was timeless. It was a classic. Were it still open today - it would be packed with families willing to spend another $40-$50 for a great dinner and a show. But no - it's not open for that anymore. It was converted into Aladdin's Oasis - which was a trendy replacement for the TT that just never quite worked (the appeal of an Aladdin-based show just wasn't as strong as the old TT (plus the food wasn't as good (IMO)). I realize that TSI is in desperate need of a makeover - I just hope that it is not another legal-built, dumbed down playground that will no longer have the universal appeal that TSI *had* in it's heyday. Change is fine - but make sure it's going to be another classic - not just a marketting ploy to fleece a few more $$$ from your "guests" (remember - we're not CUSTOMERS, we're GUESTS!)

Re: 10/13: Yesterland's Future
Werner - I have loved Yesterland dating back to about 1998. I even did a radio commentary about it a few years ago. I remember, and even worked in some of the locations you talk about - like the aforementioned Tahitian Terrace. Yesterland is just a terrific site.
So glad to see that you're coming on board here.
