    Good for Small World.
    BAD for Tomorrowland.

That's all I have to say.
But thanks for bringing back this article, can't wait for Sue's "new" stuff soon.

The link to the Mary Blair website (image link on page 2) is incorrect. http://www.worldofmaryblair.com/ is a cybersquatter keyword site.

After the last refurb of IASW at WDW her art and design talent really was able to sparkle. Next time you ride, block out the song, don't look at the kids, and you'll see how stunningly created this ride is. For me, I like the song and the kids.

          Thanks for the article Sue.

Mary's work is amazing. You can see why her work has influenced countless illustrators and animation designers currently working at animation studios like PIXAR.

A display director from FAO Schwarz toy store showed me a sign that she had photos from It's Small World with the text "Everything I learned about design I learned from 'It's a Small World'." She had received it from her boss prior to taking over the department. I would agree. The ride does use amazing color, design, graphics, patterns, etc. I love how those black tunnels sections have unique cut out entrances that create a unique entrance to the next scene.

There will be a show of Mary Blair's work at the Cartoon Art Museum starting later this month. I was working on some graphics for the exhibit and I got a chance to see some of her paintings. Really amazing.

Here are some cool samples of Mary Blair's work from the new exhibit.

After many, many months of gearing up for it, we're now about one week away from the opening of the Cartoon Art Museum's newest exhibition, The Art and Flair of Mary Blair . More than fifty pieces of one of the all-time great Disney artists will be on display, many of which have never been seen by…
