Came across this post from a LONG time Disney Insider at another board, who has been very reliable over the last few years....

The DCA announcement is not quite so imminent right now.

There's quite a few folks ticked off that Lutz spilled the beans on what was to be announced on Wednesday. What I last heard late Monday afternoon was that we might even hold off on the Wednesday announcement, with an unfortunate element of spite in that decision.

I really doubt it. If it turns out to be true (which there is no way to tell) then I'll be very disappointed.

While the importance of a web community for a company is obvious, I doubt the voices here have the sway many people think they have.

Wow if this is true then I will be very disappointed in Disney. They are acting like this announcement and forth coming changes to the DLR will make or brake the company. Your average Disney park goer has no idea chages are coming. In any case as stated above, for once good news from DCA just announce it!

I doubt very much that there won't be an annoucement.

There's a reason why the story ran in the WSJ today.

And if it is delayed, rest assured Al had nothing to do with it.

I wouldn't worry too much. There was already an article written on this and there is also a news video over at Mousetimes that talks about this....so it isn't Al's fault. Disney should just announce it and give the FANS what they want.....Disney Magic!
