    Council approves museum at park

Engineers assure building at Fairview Park would be temporary; compromises also suggested to preserve annual fish fry tradition.

The Costa Mesa City Council opened the door for future development at Fairview Park Tuesday when it approved placing a temporary building for a model-train museum

That would be really cool, but I'd hate to see them cluttering up Fairview Park. The reason it's so nice is because it's so open.

We've been riding the trains there since they opened!

The Fish Fry hasn't been the same in years.

        Nope, never heard of it!

It sounds more like a model railroad club than a "museum." Are you going to join, CA?

No but I'd visit the museum.

I hope they don't put a skate park at Fairview Park! I love that we have some open space around here! A small train museum sounds OK though.

I'm not familiar with this particular park. However, I like model trains as well as old steam locomotives. I'm much closer to Travel Town in Griffith Park.
