  • Wall-E canned-food sculpture

    Hello all.

I was reading this morning's Daily Pilot. It is a local newspaper for the cities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa published by the Los Angeles Times. When I was a kid it was an independent newspaper -- I vividly remember paperboys delivering this paper from their bicycles and going door to door to collect money for the subscription -- but now it comes with the Orange County Edition of the Los Angeles Times. My how things have changed over the years!

    Anyway, I digress...

In today's Daily Pilot there is an article about canned food sculptures that are on display this week at South Coast Plaza, which for those of you who may not be a local, is in Costa Mesa, about 10 - 15 miles away from Disneyland. The food will be donated to Orange County Food Bank when the event is over. But one of the sculptures is modeled after Wall-E and Eve. I put a link here to see a picture of it and read the article about it. So if any of you are looking into doing something unique this week, this might be something of interest...
