  • New "Adventure" line of toys

"We wished upon a star and our dreams came true! The newest Disney Store Exclusive series of Disney Heroes has never looked so stylish. With dynamic new 6-inch versions of Prince Phillip, Hercules, Captain Hook and Peter Pan (YEA) this series packs a punch like Hercules has muscles. We can only hope that some of our other favorite characters make it inot this series, like Beast from Beauty and the Beast or Hercules' Hades."

The above is from the latest issue of Toy Fare. The release date is October 2005.

Here are the scans from the magazine:

    Prince Phillip:

    Hercules:

    Capt. Hook:

    Peter Pan:

He has never looked better.
Peter Pan Forever!!! I Will Never Grow Up.

Just remember without a well written Disney Villain, there would be no point in the Heroes and the Princesses. Have you hugged a Disney Villain today?

Well, they certainly are hot. But they're also a little Village Peopley at the same time! I mean, check out some of those poses. And Peter says "Snap!"

So, who exactly is the target audience for this line?

Hook looks feminine, his upper body is not proportionate to his waist. it just looks creepy. Now Peter Pan looks cut.

            Uh, yeah, VERY Village People.

Thumbs down for me...they all look like they just bit into a lemon.

Exactly. Is it just me or does Hook look a little like Willi Ninja? And Peter looks like Link (from Zelda) gone feminine.

I have no idea who those characters are! LOL. Guess I'm not really up on that sutff.

Hook looks like he should be saying, "Work it, girl!"

Willi Ninja is a 'runway guru' (as quoted from his home page) and Zelda is one of the most famous Nintendo game (behind only Mario)

I don't know which is worse... this pointy pixie-like Peter Pan or the hulking mostronsity Peter Pan I saw at The Disney Store!
                    Good morning, son
                    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
                    It was pain
                    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Like it or not - I certainly don't - Pokemon is bigger than Zelda, in terms of revenue and fame. But Zelda beats it with history and following.

Cool concept but it just doesn't work with Disney characters...they weren't ment to be bad ***...
