      Re: New UP! trailer

Definitely a Pixar fan, but they're not really giving much of even the general storyline away with this one. I'm sure we'll know more once the end of May rolls around, but for a trailer is still leaves an awful lot to the imagination.

From what I've heard, the plot of Up! is loosely based of the story of Don Quixote. I guess we'll see. Looks cool so far.

Hmm, well I can't say I'm familiar with the story, and my last encounter with the character is among the wind mills on IASW.

I just assume for anything interesting to happen, that house will have to come DOWN!

              Re: New UP! trailer

I saw a 3D trailer for it yesterday in front of Coraline. Didn't originally want to see it in 3D, but after seeing the range of depth Pixar will be using with this film, I have to see it in 3D now.

I don't like how "boxy" Carl looked in 3D, but hopefully that will be fixed when the final cut comes out.

I didn't think he looked boxier in 3D, but that's just me.

                  Re: New UP! trailer

I was disappointed that the opening of the trailer (feturing all of the previous Pixar movies) was not in 3D. But that's just me.

That was what was kind of disorienting, but at the same time cool. Once the door opened and you actually got to see INTO Carl's house, that effect made me go "oh wow!"
