When i used to work for a corporation that had many layers of old management, it was too easy to give up and not fight for the new idea. It got harder and harder to show up for the blanderization of my little job. I'd listen to a Ramones song that was kind of an anthem to me that and I'd play it at extreme volume just before I arrived.
