  • G-Force (2009)

I was browsing on IMDb and I saw this new movie coming out in 2009 called G-Force. The cast looks like a great line-up with Nicolas Cage, Penelope Cruz, Will Arnett and Tracy Morgan. Figured I would start a thread so we can keep an eye out for any new information on the movie. According to IMDb this is the synopsis:
The story is about a team of trained secret agent guinea pigs that takes on a mission for the US government. A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire, who plans to taking over the world with household appliances.

I remember hearing about this. I wonder when we will see a trailer for it. It's another Jerry Bruckheimer film so it should be interesting.

I just looked up Hoyt Yeatman and wow, he has had his hand in so many different films! He worked on The Rock, The Abyss, Con Air, The Princess Diaries and Armageddon. If the movie is slated to release in July 2009, guess we still have some time for the trailer...

Y'know, I just jumped to the bottom of this thread to click the link, without reading any of the other stuff above. I'd heard of "G-Force" before but somehow got Gatchaman into my head. When I saw guinea pigs, I went WT...?! lol. I'm surprised Bruckheimer's producing this, didn't realize it was his kinda thing. Because his name's on it, I might see it, unlike the Chihuahua one that just came out that I passed on.

I thought it was going to be an adaptation of the 80's Anime series by the same title. Super agent Guinea Pigs don't really do it for me by comparisen. Oh well.

Glad I wasn't alone thinking it was the Japanese cartoon either.

I am worried about Disney Feature Film Animation to be honest. Tinker Bell wasn't too bad at all, but the rest of the releases in the past few years have been pretty "meh" in my opinion. Pixar is the only Disney related Animation that has been worth going to the theaters for. "G-Force" doesn't look like it will change that for me to be honest.

Will Arnett is pretty animated but c'mon!
Walt Disney Animation Studios isn't mentioned anywhere in the credits,
this is a considered a live-action film from Walt Disney Pictures.

I read the comments...it appears to be a Disney film, though I do not know if it animated or not.

So they made a movie like this (and they continue to do so), but they dropped Narnia? :bang::blink::!$#%::thumbdown
