    Nice day for a fright wedding

    Once considered the spokesman for brooding Gothic loners, director Tim Burton still defines his films in dark and mysterious ways. Now he's got some serious box-office clout to go with his style after this summer's weirdly whimsical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory earned nearly US$200-million in North America.

    Not surprisingly, there are great expectations for his stop-motion puppetry animation project Corpse Bride, which opens theatrically Sept. 23 and is a Toronto International Film Festival special presentation tomorrow night.
