I just saw these online. Tim Burton is on crack. LOL. Anyway, I liked it all except I'm trying to accept Anne Hathaway playing in this film but my mind won't let me. What an odd choice.

All in all, I'm seriously creeped out by these photos... so I'm guessing that's a good sign?

If you go to dailymail.co.uk (tv a nd showbizz link) , they have pics of Tweedle Dee/Dum and a few far away shots of Alice.

          Looks absolutely amazing. Can't wait.

Kind of a big movie for a March release though. Wonder if there is any chance they will move it up for a Holiday 2009 release.

I just went to aintitcoolnews and they said the Cheshire Cat is spooky. Now I'm all scared/excited to know what it looks like.

They're probably not looking at it as cuddly enough in theatres for Xmas, so aim for the DVD push for holiday shopping and put it right into Oscar drive season. 'Rapunzel' will have the seasonal push.

The Nicolas Sparks' film, 'The Last Song' starring Miley Cyrus, Greg Kinnear and Kelly Preston opening January 8th

'Beauty and the Beast' 3D Valentine's Day

              'Alice in Wonderland' March 5.

              DisneyNatures' 'Oceans' April 22nd

'Prince of Persia; Sands of Time' May 28th

and June 18th has 'Toy Story 3D'.

Man....those look great! I am SOOO excited to see this film! I'm with Sara, though. I can't wrap my mind around Anne in the movie. She just doesn't seem to fit the Tim Burton mold. Eh. Maybe she will surprise us. I know the movie will be fantastic no matter what.

And, then...of course...it has Johnny. Nothing bad about that. at all.

I'm a huge Johnny fan as well (we share a birthday...sigh, cosmically meant to be) and I can't wait to see this! Yeah I'm not seeing Anne Hathaway in that role at all. Of course Helena Bonham Carter is in the movie, she's in like all of her husbands movies. I was moreso thinking that Johnny's hatter character would more closely resemble Willy Wonka, but he looks crazy!! Yay for creepy Tim Burton films!

I think Johnny looks like Elijah Woods in that photo! The only thing I really like is how H.B. Carter's head looks enormous, like the old book renderings.

                            Seconded!

Unfiltered versions of old fairy tales are pretty creepy.
I can't wait to get a look at the envoirments! They'll be stunning.

Still not sure how I feel about all this. I think Anne Hathaway looks gorgeous (but I'm bias toward her) and the others... well they look very Burton.
I think I'm still in the mind set of "why do we need another Alice remake." I know it's suppose to be more of a continuation of the story, but still *sigh* I just don't know.
Being good and reserving judgment cause I love Burton & I love Depp and all that. Nothing could be as bad as Planet of the Apes right?
