Re: New Film "Duma" In Need Of An Audience

I've seen previews of this, and all I ever think is "How many versions of Free Willy can they make?" Not to mention a boy taming a cheetah... There's a reason they're "wild" animals... You can't tame them... I'm just tired of recycled ploy lines...

Fly Away Home was one of VERY few movies that brought tears to my eyes. But I honestly have no interest in this.

        Ya lost me at "cheetah"

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

I suppose it's really true. Moviegoers deserve the films we get into theaters in recent years.

The only reason I thought of posting this thread was for all the wholesome family oriented chatters looking for a wonderful film their family could see together combined with my love for the film maker himself.

"Duma" is one film among four that have generally had terrific reviews this past week. Go see the junk instead.

PS. And as for your flippant post, Reaver -- the film isn't about a kid adopting an orphaned Cheetah cub to tame it. It's a tale about reintroducing it to the wild.
