Help Save a Life and Visit a Blood Donor Clinic this Fall

    Visitors to Canadian Blood Services
locations this fall have an opportunity to win an enchanted weekend for two to
Banff, Alberta, courtesy of The Fairmont Banff Springs and Air Canada, or one
of 15 prize packs featuring a castle playhouse and a DVD of Walt Disney's
original classic, CINDERELLA, which is available for the first time ever in a
two-disc Platinum Edition Disney DVD October 4, 2005.
"This fall we are asking Canadians to remember that everyone deserves a
Happily Ever After and one donation can save the lives of three people," said
Dr. Graham Sher, Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Blood Services. "We want
to encourage everyone to lighten the load being carried by the small number of
Canadians meeting the demand for blood in the rest of the country."
This promotion is the result of a partnership between Canadian Blood
Services, Buena Vista Home Entertainment Limited Canada, Air Canada, and The
Fairmont Banff Springs. The campaign features animated characters from the
beloved Walt Disney film, Cinderella, and is designed to increase awareness of
    the ongoing need for blood.
"Encouraging Canadians to donate blood fits perfectly with the spirit of
Cinderella," says Jonathan Hope, vice president and general manager of Buena
Vista Home Entertainment Canada. "The film follows Cinderella as she pursues a
Happily Ever After, with the assistance of her friends and fairy godmother. I
encourage Canadians to help others achieve their own Happily Ever After by
    donating blood."
