    Steven Spielberg has not abandoned his long-in-the-works film on Abraham Lincoln with Liam Neeson, he is first focusing on his "Harvey" update.

    However Academy Award-winning director Robert Redford has announced his own Lincoln film, "The Conspirator" starring Robin Wright Penn as Mary Surratt, the woman tried and executed for her role in aiding assassin John Wilkes Booth and company and James McAvoy as the yound lawyer that defended her in court. The production begins shooting in October.
