Best:
1. Who Framed Roger Rabbit
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. UP (though I still do not consider PIXAR 'Disney' as they create films independent of the now parent company)
4. Freaky Friday (2nd remake, not the one with Shelly Long)
5. National Treasure

Worst:
1. Condorman
2. Devil and Max Deviln
3. Pirates of the Caribbean 2&3
4. Chicken Little
5. Popeye (though I have to admit, it's a guilty pleasure, like Tron or The Black Hole)

And just a note, most everything produced by Ron Miller from 1972 - 1980, anything with a '2' (or higher) in the title (Toy Story being the exception, but again that's PIXAR not DISNEY)

That's a LOT of movies to pick from. Would be better if it was narrowed down to Animated movies. Plus, the Direct-To-Video ones are obviously going to be on the bottom for most people.

But, I will play along anyway.

Best:

1) Pulp Fiction
2) The Lion King
3) A Bugs Life
4) The Nightmare Before Christmas
5) Ed Wood

Worst (I'm purposely leaving out Direct to Video and Disney Channel movies as they would take up all 5 spots except for the #1 spot which would still be the same):

1) Home on the Range
2) Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend
3) Holy Man
4) Deuce Bigelow: Male Gigolo
5) V.I. Warshawski

Disclaimer: I can't find my way to list five "best" films that I won't change my mind about even a week from now among other great ones not listed. So these are the ones that rose to the top as of this morning.

Best:

1. The Incredibles
2. Beauty and the Beast
3. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
4. Up
5. Enchanted

I could only really think of two films that stayed with me as stinky flicks, especially since I like to think I avoid the "bad" ones to begin with.

Worst:

1. The Haunted Mansion
2. The Return of Jafar

That's a lot of movies to choose from, it's difficult enough to choose just the best and worst of the MAIN animated movies of Disney/Pixar over the past 30 years, and I too will avoid the made for tv movies and the secondary animated features. (and avoided including the recent Tink movies and the multiple Pooh movies)

That must be some accomplishment, considering the fact Disney never made that film.

(Now if I included anything from Pixar or Studio Ghibli, then it would be a whole different list. Especially considering Princess Mononoke is one of my favorite animated films of all time.)

Treasure Planet (i feel I'm alone on this one.... it's been my favorite film since Nov. 27th, 2002 )
TRON (my other favorite film)
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Nightmare Before Christmas (This movie was on repeat at my house when I was a kid. I have vivid memories of it. Especially wearing out our VHS and having to go buy a new one. )
... I can't pick just 5... there are just too many amazing movies that they've made... I like almost every (animated) film they've made.


Worst: not a term I like to use. When watching a Disney animated film... i try to find some redeeming qualities to it. But I'll list the films that aren't my favorites (meaning I dislike them somewhat...).

Home on the Range (i'll watch it every once in a while...)
Chicken Little (the pop culture jokes are kind of getting old... and it's just not as much of a joy to watch as it was in 2005)
Bolt (I dunno, it was okay. Maybe it deserves a re-watching?)

There's others I know it... I just can't think of them right now.

Hey, dj1 you're not alone on that one.
TP was the only Disney movie(besides Brother Bear) after the Renaissance ended that I could really identify with.

Top 5 Best for me:

1- UP (that is probably my favorite of the Pixar movies as of now)
2- Aladdin
3- Remember the Titans (I use to watch it over and over when I bought it on VHS)
4- Tarzan
5- The Hunchback of Notre Dame/Lilo and Stitch

The Top 5 Worst:

I can only think of two

1- Chicken Little (Forgettable and not really that funny)
2- Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End

5. Nightmare Before Christmas - I know somone else posted that they wore out their VHS copy....Me too! And now my son has worn out the replacement I bought. Time to get a dvd, finally.

4. Santa Buddies
5. MXP: Most Extreme Primate .....I refuse to watch it for fear my brain will liquify and drip out my nose. Who gave that the 'green light'?! Terrible.
