  • The other'Up' chosen film of the year by National Board of Review

    Jason Reitman's "Up in the Air" has been named best film of the year by the New York-based National Board of Review.

    Its star George Clooney shared best actor honors with Morgan Freeman, who plays Nelson Mandela in "Invictus." That movie also earned a best director kudo for Clint Eastwood.

    'An Education's' Carey Mulligan was honored with Best Actress.
    'Up in the Air' wins NBR best picture
