Disney options 'Fallen' for film

Disney has optioned rights to "Fallen," a young-adult novel by Lauren Kate that features angels. Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray will produce the film adaptation through their Mayhem Prods. banner.

Hope they don't drop it after one or two movies like they did with the Narnia series.

If the audience supports it at the box office, they'll get another one, simple. Big difference though in a film like this than one with a $100+ million budget and another $100 million for advertising.
