  • Disney Store Stockton, CA COME BACK!

Is there any way of lobbying to get a Disney Store to come back to a city that it has left? There was a Disney Store inside of the Weberstown Mall, here in Stockton but closed about a year or two ago. Since then, theres a new shopping center called Stone Creek Plaza right across the street that would make a great spot for a Disney Store. Who do I write???
"Whether in his movies or in his theme parks, Disney always promised a fantasy in which one could exercise the privileges of childhood - privileges he never abandoned in his own life. This will to power took the inanimate and brought it to life, or the illusion of like. In animation one could exercise the power of a god." - Neal Gabler, writer-'Walt Disney, The Triumph of The American Imagination'

I was a Cast Member at that store and miss it dearly. When we were bought back by Disney in 2008 we were originally on a list to be closed and found out a few days before we were to close, that we were staying open. It was only a year later, to our shock, that our store would indeed close for good. Luckily, I got a transfer to the store in Modesto and work with a wonderful Cast there. Perhaps one day Disney will bring the magic back to Stockton.

Yes, I've been to this store. Too bad it's gone.
