  • Repunzel being shut down to be 'Retooled'

The story from jimhillmedia- take it with a grain of salt.

if true, it looks like finally the studio has awaken to the fact that the story is key. This is may very well be a good thing. but hard times for Glen, a lot of pressure oh him now.

        true, true. But still...
reasure me: have any other disney animated films undergone this much reworking? I'm thinking there's gotta be something... I'm rembering something about Aladdin... but I don't know if it was all that huge.

ORDDU: In this particular case, re-working RAPUNZEL is the ONLY way to go. The ideas forced upon poor Glen Keane thus far--by his rather whacky Producer--have been nothing short of insane.

ORWEN: Poor Rapunzel had to be rescued from the bad decisions of a certain CEO who's no longer in charge. (He was the one who wanted to add the word 'unbraided' to the title. What kind of crazy idea was THAT?)

ORDDU: Give us a good, old fashioned sort of fairy tale--like the Disney company USED to provide--over all this Shrek-immitating drivel--and we'll be much more satisfied, thank you!!
