Wondering who wrote it, where it was used, what the lyrics are, and if a recording is available.
Obviously I can't hum a few bars here, but I can list the chorus:
"Disneyland.... Disneyland.... Shining star in Disneyland.
If your heart is the youthful kind, you will seek there you'll find:
Castles high in the air. All your dreams are waiting there.
And you will find your dreams come true in Disneyland for you."
The tune itself is played in the background of some of the old "Disneyland" specials about the park itself as they're doing some of the aerial shots and overviews.
Also, I heard the tune on a DVD from the Extinct Attractions Club on Adventure through Inner Space. It sounded like a very old recording, from perhaps when the park first opened or even before - maybe it was used as advertising.
Anyone know of this song and where I can find more about it?
