  • Toon Disney becoming De-tooned?

I passed by Disney Channel a few minutes ago and they said that Power Rangers P.S.C. (or something ridiculous like that) is on Toon Disney. My first question is how many stupid Power Rangers series do they have to make?!!!

Okay but seriously, I thought Toon Disney was for cartoons only. Then again, I also thought MTV was for music only. What is happening to the animated shows on Toon Disney???

Our resident wrestling fan is slamming on the Power Rangers? Probably because of the fixed fights, goofy costumes, and over-the-top stunts.

    Glass houses, friend. Glass houses.

Maybe they figured the bright colored costumes were cartoony enough to put on the air.

There are currently twelve versions of Power Rangers. One for each season except Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which lasted for three.

Toon Disney needs to become cool. But unless Disney is looking for advertisers, I don't see why being hip and trendy matters. (Same applies to Disney "BRING BACK THE VAULT!" Channel.)

I am not happy with Toon Disney. The channel used to be great becuase they would show the classic series from the 60's and 90's I grew up with, along with classic Disney animation. Now the station has become just another outlet for recent animation that you can see elsewhere. The only thing good with Toon Disney is the movies that they show. Most of them don't get much airtime (if at all) on the Disney Channel.

I prefer Boomerang for my classic cartoon fix-They have not abandoned the classics. More recent animation has been added lately but they have not abandoned the classics.
