  • How many movies have you seen in the theater this year?

"Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole" was number 110 for me so far in 2010.

^ Not that many. Wow, that's crazy. You do realize at an average ticket price of $8 that equates to $880 (not including popcorn, etc). Of course, if you don't pay for the movie, forget I said that.

Let's see, movies I've seen in the theatre:

    Toy Story 3
    Alice in Wonderland
    Iron Man 2
    Inception (2x)
    Despicable Me
    The Last Airbender
    Valentine's Day
    Dear John
    The Wolfman

Wow, I didn't even think it was that many.

In the past few years, I've only only mainly gone to the geek flicks or tentpole movies. So generally not that many. And this summer, I got busy with theatre so even less in 2010 so far...

      Kick-***
Clash of the Titans IMAX 3D
      Iron Man 2 IMAX
      Toy Story 3 IMAX 3D

FWIW I did see Alice in Wonderland when it came out on Blu-ray. That's how I'll end up finally seeing Inception and Scott Pilgrim as well, two others I really wanted to see in theatres but missed.

Harry Potter and TRON: Legacy are the only flicks on my radar to see in theatres with friends later this year.

Let's see if I remember them all:

              The Town
              Wall Street money Never Sleeps
              Takers
              The Other Guys (x2)
              The Expendables
              Salt
              Sorcerer's Apprentice
              Toy Story 3
Shrek Goes Fourth (or The Final Chapter - what ever the title was)
              Get Him To The Greek
              The Karate Kid
              Inception
              Prince of Persia
              Robin Hood
              The A-Team (x2)
              Iron Man 2
              Alice In Wonderland
              Oceans (x2)
              Clash of the Titans
I think that's it. I can't remember what I saw early in the year but that was due to being glued to the Winter Olympics. I can't remember if I saw Avatar during the Christmas break or in the new year. This year the summer selection was kind of meh. 2011 and 2012 are going to be big summers - and they should be with the world ending and all.
