  • Disney float in Macy's Parade

I have been watching the Macy's parade and there was a float from Walt Disney World with LeAnn Rymes and a whole slew of Disney characters and children dressed up like those Disney characters. For those of you on the West coast I won't spoil it anymore since that really isn't the point of my post. All I will say is it kicks all of the other floats butts from here to China.

Disney has had balloons in the parade several times but is this the first time that Disney or a Disney park has actually entered a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?

I don't know if this is the first Disney float in the parade.

On Thanksgiving morning I went to the Meadowlands arena in NJ to see Disney On Ice with a friend. On the bus ride back into the city we passed a truck coming out of the city pulling a trailer with this dismantled float called "Ship of Dreams" and I'd wondered what it was.

When I got around to watching the parade last night, I chuckled a bit when I realized it was the float for Walt Disney World!

I missed it because we had to be on the road. Does anyone know where there might be pictures of the float posted?
Duct tape is like The Force. It has a dark side & a light side and it binds the Universe together.

In the Macy's parade, they sang "Remember When" (the theme song to HCoE). They sang "Welcome" (Phil Collin's song from Brother Bear) for this past Rose parade.
