  • Favorite Movie Soundtracks

When I watch a movie, one of the first things I notice is the soundtrack, if the soundtrack isn't good, then I really can't like the movie as much. My first comment walking out of lord of the rings wasnt, "wow what a great movie!" it was "man, I gotta get that soundtrack" and ever since that I have loved Movie Soundtracks. What are your favorites?

Here is a list of mine from memory

    Pirates of the Caribbean
All 3 Lord of the Rings
    A Beautiful Mind
    Lemony Snicket
    Anything by Danny Elfman
    Finding Neverland
    Pulp Fiction
    Reservoir Dogs
    Kill Bill Vol.1 and 2

There's others but I just cant think of them right now.
    What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

I saw that soundtrack being sold in the Warehouse (NZ equivalent of Target or Wal-mart) for 9.99, pretty cheap. Especially if you figure in the exchange rate, I might by it when I actually have money to indulge myself.

Oh, man, so many. Outside of Disney music, it's my favorite type of music to buy. I love film scores! In particular, I loved the scores from:
                  Raiders of the Lost Ark
                  Jurassic Park
Free Willy (all three of them)
                  The Mummy
                  The Mummy Returns
                  Twister
                  Flipper
                  Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars
                  Pirates of the Caribbean
                  Star Trek: First Contact
                  The Mighty
                  George of the Jungle
                  Anastasia
                  The Rescuers Down Under
"I don't need intelligent drugs because I don't know what they are. But I will put anything into my mouth that is given to me, whether it's supposed to go there or not. Because... I'm different."

For ten bucks....go for it (but only if they've reproduced it with all four sides of music that were released in 1980). It really is the crown jewel of soundtracks.
