  • Angry tourists create chaotic scenes at Hong Kong Disneyland- New Kerala, 2/2/2006

Beijing: Disgruntled tourists today created chaotic scenes at Hong Kong Disneyland, a major travel destination for Chinese tourists during the ongoing Lunar New Year holiday week, when they were denied entry into the park despite having valid tickets, media reports said today.

Around 200 tourists with tickets gathered in front of the park's gate demanded entry into the park this morning, while some of them tried to climb over the iron-barred gate, Xinhua news agency reported from Hong Kong.

An angry tourist from Taiwan said that he visited Disneyland in California and Tokyo, and had never been locked out of the park.
