  • The entire First Chapter of "Disney War" available online

    The New York Times published the entire first chapter of James B. Stewart's book, "Disney War"... (Free registration requires)

      Like they really need to publish the first chapter... The book is a fabulous page turner...

        Its a teaser...gets people to buy the real book.

        My take on the whole book was that it actually was a bit boring, hazy in theme park details with most of the emphasis on Eisners lying monologue and outright paranoia of anybody attempting to outdo him or possibly be better than him.

        It was a good book and I hope it becomes available in a more acceptable price range, I paid $18 for it new on Ebay, perhaps it an E-book now.

          Thanks Darkbeer, it's enough of an appetizer to make me want to read the whole thing.

          ( I get most of my books at the Library, I can't afford to pay for the amount I read! )

            Well, I guess it would come out in trade paperback by the end of the year...
