    Alright all,
Over the weekend I started this book and I'm 150 pages into it.
I want to hear what everyone's feelings are about this book! Because from where I'm at currently, Eisner is still pretty much holding the company together.
I didn't realize how much he truly did to save the company when he took over in 1984. Now I realize that a majority of that was because of the people he surrounded himself with, but wow... those early Eisner years must have been pretty amazing for the company.
    I don't remember because I was only 10 years old in 1984.

What's everyone's thoughts (those of you who have read, or are reading it)??
I only hope we never lose sight of one thing... that it was all started by a mouse!

I thought it was a good read. Its sort of wierd how it twists with Eisner's personality and everythign that happens. Good drama that is all fake fooey.

The biggest downside is its cliff hanging ending. I finished the book right before Iger was named the new CEO. The book could probably have used more closure.

-Alright all, time to resurrect this thread because I finished 'Disney War' last night and was hit in the face with a harsh reality...
Not don't get me wrong, I'm not overly crazy about the way Eisner has conducted business these past 10 years, but it hit me that without him at the helm when Comcast came in with their crazy bid, Disney might be under Comcast's rule right now. So in that aspect, I'm very grateful that Eisner had total disregard for the plans he was suppose to follow in taking all offers to the board and letting them in on the discussions. Because in reading the end of 'Disney War', you find out that the board would have been much more inclined to possibly agree to the merger than Eisner by himself.
So in that vein, I thank Eisner for being the CEO he has been these past years!!!
