  • New Harry Potter Collectable Dolls

    I ordered this on line from a Doll Shoppe and it came yesterday. Just to warn you, these dolls are not cheap. Harry Potter at the Yule Ball retails for $149.95 but I got this one, brand new in box, for $122.99. Below are some pictures I took yesterday. Ron Weasley and Hermoine Granger in their Yule Ball outfits will be released in May. I plan to get those as well.

    Here is the box it comes in:

    Here is how it is packed in the box:

    Here is the doll in the box after the cloak has been removed:

    Here are three pictures of the doll set up, dressed and on display:

    The Harry Potter and Hermoine Grainger dolls are 17" in height and the Ron Weasley doll is 17 1/2" in height. These are really well done sculpts of the actors from Goblet of Fire and each comes with a wand (except Hermoine who has a coursage) and a special stand for display. I have also sent for a glass and wood case to put them in.

    I really don't understand why no one is making any comments about this doll. It really is amazing and even though it's costly, it's worth every penny. Wait until you see Ron and Hermoine, they are also amazing. Anyway, I got a case that these size dolls will fit in, and put Harry in the case today. I will get a case for each doll as they become available.

      Wow, that looks exactly like Daniel Radcliffe.... a little creepy, but nicely crafted.
      Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!

        Actually the pictures don't do justice to the doll. They are really well done and as collectable dolls go, they are at the top of the chain. I will get some pictures of Ron and Hermoine and post them in a few mintues so you can check them out.

          And here is Hermoine in her Yule Ball Gown:

          Hermoine is 17" and Ron is 17 1/2" in height. Ron and Harry come with wands while Hermoine comes with a wrist corsage. Hedwig, in scale to Harry, will be available later this year.

                Re: New Harry Potter Collectable Dolls

                I have a feeling that only the three major kids will be done. I would think a nice one of Dumbledore, Hagrid, McGonigle and Snape would be appropiate as they are in every movie. I don't think a doll of this cost would be done for a one time appearance character. I do know that a cat for Hermoine will also be available later. I keep tabs on the doll site and if I see anything I will post it.

                  I want all the Champions. A Fleur would be LOVELY.

                  Cedric would just make me depressed, though. ;___;
