Alums return for 'West Wing' finale

LOS ANGELES, March 1 (UPI) -- The final episodes of NBC's "West Wing" will see the return of Rob Lowe and eight other familiar faces, it was revealed Wednesday.
Lowe will star in two of the last episodes, while Mary-Louise Parker, Gary Cole, Tim Matheson, Marlee Matlin, Emily Procter, Anna Deavere Smith, Timothy Busfield and Annabeth Gish will also come back to bid the series farewell, Daily Variety reported Wednesday.
Lowe last played Sam Seaborn in the show's fourth season and Parker's Amy Gardner was last seen in the 2003-2004 season.
Cole will revive his role as Vice President Bob Russell and Matheson will be back as former Vice President John Hoynes. Gish will reprise her role as President Bartlet's eldest daughter, Elizabeth, and Marlee Matlin will be back in the role of political consultant Joey Lucas.
"CSI: Miami" star Procter will revive her role as associate White House counsel Ainsley Hayes, Smith will return as National Security Adviser Nancy McNally and Timothy Busfield again portray journalist Danny Concanon.

Cool. I loved this show up until they went into all this end of term for Bartlerr. I lost interest when Bartlet would be replaced. And the loss of John Spencer was too much for the show to lose. It was a great show, and I will make an effort to see the last few episodes.
