Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles and Disney's Tarzan II each scored multiple awards from the DVD Exclusive Academy. Also honored with a Creative Achievement Award is Sharon Morrill, president of DisneyToon Studios. The awards will be presented on April 5th.

What does a family of superheroes, Bob Dylan and a verbose cartoon baby have in common? They're all big winners of the 2006 DVD Exclusive Awards.

The winners in 26 categories voted on by the DVD Exclusive Academy will be feted at an invitation-only cocktail hosted by Video Business and the Digital Entertainment Group on April 5 at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in North Hollywood, Calif. Two special Creative Achievement Awards also will be presented that night, to prestige DVD label The Criterion Collection and animated franchise film producer Sharon Morrill, president of DisneyToon Studios.

After grossing $355 million in home video spending, Pixar and Buena Vista Home Entertainment's animated superheroes The Incredibles flew away with four awards, including Overall DVD, New Movie. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Two-Disc Collector's Edition of Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull was voted the winner in the Overall DVD, Classic Film category.
