Took a trip to the World of Disney store on 55th & 5th in New York City this Sunday.

The large front windows featured a large Easter display:

The other a Disney Gallery display focusing on Donald Duck:

Here are some photos from inside:

The "Magical Meetings" this weekend was Donald Duck & Friend. On this day it was Daisy. Goofy and Pluto have also been his "friends."

    Also on hand was Stitch!

Here are my photos (I'm the human)

And here is the upcoming "Magical Meetings Schedule off the World of Disney website:

    Cheers!

Yay! I SO have to do that when I go to NYC. Thanks so much for sharing. Do they always have characters there? Is there a place to find out this information before you go?

Oh.. and what'd you buy? :cwink:

and since BPF asked, here is the online link to the character info for WOD NYC

      And the WOD NYC website
Thank You for dropping by my post. I do hope you enjoyed your stay....

They have had some great characters there. Since they re-opened (about 2 years ago IMHR) they had:
        Lilo & Stitch
        Cinderella
        The Incredibles
        Winnie the Pooh & Tigger
        Chicken Little & Abby
        Pluto & Goofy
        Chip & Dale
        Jojo & Goliath
and a handful of others I am forgetting. The upcoming list has the characters changing much faster than before. For example, Donald & Friends had been in the room since January.

They do the Character greetings on the third floor in a separate room. I usually go on a Sunday, and the store is sometimes crowded, but the character greetings are never too crowded.

Oh, as for what I bought:

-An Everest hat (shaped like the Abominable Snowman's head - similar to the "Stitch biting your head" hat)
          -A Figment magnet
          -A handful of pins
-The Shaggy Dog & Shaggy DA DVDs
