  • Producer/Director DAN CURTIS has died...

The famous director/producer of the 1960s and 1970s, Dan Curtis, has passed on. He follows his wife, Norma Curtis, who passed on just about a week ago, to the great beyond. Curtis is best known for his productions of "DARK SHADOWS" (1966-1971, 1991), "The TRILOGY OF TERROR" (1975) and "THE NIGHT STALKER" (1972-1973). He is also known for producing other classics like "War and Remembrance", "Our Fathers", and "The Winds of War", along with his own versions of "Dracula", "The Picture of Dorian Gray", and "Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde". He leaves behind him a great legacy and will always be remembered for bringing new life to the horror genre with "Dark Shadows". The end credits' famous line: "Dark Shadows is a Dan Curtis Production" will be engrained into my mind forever, and Curtis's legacy will live on for years to come. May he and his wife rest in peace. +
