Doesn't ANYONE watch the Amazing Race???

I LOVE that show and I am really enjoying this season but I have NO ONE to talk to about it!!!

Why? No one else stopped- Lynn and Alex were already there- everyone else just yelled out the window and kept driving.

And let's be honest- few of the other teams would have stopped for them. I guarantee you Lynn and Alex would have snickered and sped up. Those two spend more time bitching about and hating Rob and Amber than anything else we see.

Rob and Amber know these people hate them and want them gone- stupid misplaced hate if you ask me. So they are not about to roll over and show their necks for any other team.

I LOVE Meredith and Gretchen- wow those two have serious spunk and love of life. The whole caving thing was amazing- that woman is tough!

I'm glad Ray and Deana are gone- I was so sick of listening to him badger her and be nasty, and then when she finally did what he wanted he would act all sweet. he was mean!

Yeah, Ray continually pissed me off. He was SUCH a jerk. I don't know why on earth that chick would ever date him, much less want to enter a televised contest with him. Some people are just jerks when they compete, period. SO glad they're gone.

I LOVE that everyone hates Romber!! :devil: Makes me root for them even more.

I looooove Lynn and Alex though. They always make me laugh.

I love this show! Last nights episode was great. Ya gotta love a footrace at the end of a leg, especially when it is a likeable team beating out an asshat like Ray.

When I saw Ray and Deana sitting in first class on the plane to Johannesburg I thought for sure they were going to get a hefty penalty for it and got all excited, but apparently they were in the seats in acordance with race rules. Ah well, it all worked out at the end of the show.

Why in the world did the older couple pick the caves over the tribal challenge in the first place? Heck, why did any of them. The caves were even 10km further away. Made no sense to me.

And I agree, there were a ton of people already standing around not knowing what to do at the rollover. Why would Rob feel the need to stop? Its not like he or Amber are doctors or emergency personel types. Sheesh, I kinda felt like the other teams slowing down were just rubbernecking the accident scene anyway. And what was up with Phil giving Rob the third degree about it? Its your race pal, maybe you should have more support vehicles on site in areas like this. I do however give credit to Lynn and Alex for stopping as they were first on the scene.

However..

I think they are wasting way to much energy hating on Rob and Amber. You don't like them, fine, we get it. But I think it was majorly foolish of them to piss R&A off by refusing to share a short van ride. Shades of the old saying 'keep your friends close, and your enemies closer' in that case.

Ya gotta love that Meredith and Gretchen beat out old-people-hater Ray with no money and no possesions. How ya like them apples Ray?! HEEHEEE!

I still haven't decided who I want to win though. I'm warming up to the brother team a bit after last night, but ya gotta love how crafty Rob is. The rest of the season should be a total riot.

Awww Amazing race is one of the few Reality shows I actually watch (meaning I actually make sure to turn on the TV) I LOVE this show. I just started watching it a few weeks ago, but sadly I don't know if I'll get to watch the rest of ti . Oh well, There's always the intertnet recps.

I've always wondered why more people don't watch this show. Seeing other parts of the world that one doesn't think to travel to is the highlight for me, who knew there was a giant Aardvark statue out there somewhere.

I used to watch this show with my boyfriend before we broke up. I enjoyed it... but I'm not motivated enough to watch it myself I suppose... so I haven't seen it since we broke up... which was I think the first episode of this season.

I love this show. At first, I didn't want Amber and Rob to win but Rob is so crafty and sneaky that I find myself rooting for them. Rob is really the brains and the brawn behind the team. Amber is more like dead weight for him, she can't seem to make a decision on her own which I find annoying.

I also like the brother team. Can't wait for this week's episode.

I'm with you, I really don't like Rob, I admire his ability to be that sneaky, but still don't think it's fair that they keep getting people to help them because of who they are. I also would like to see the brothers win personally, especially with how well they were doing before the accident last week.

Survivor is a game of manipulation and trickery, deceit and sacrifice are part of the game. Lex was a farkin idiot to think it would be otherwise- esepcially because he himself would do the same thing (and did). I think Rob is awesome- yeah, he's pretty hardcore when he playing these games- but EVERYONE on Survivor gloated at some point-

I thought last night was hilarious- the leg of the race itself was pretty dull and boring, but watching Lynn and Alex put on most of their clothes "Can you put some underwear on, like a headband?" in contrast with the brothers taking off their clothes and putting on their swim trunks with their fuzzy hats was just too funny!!!
