      Featured Film: Benji the Hunted

      Disney celebrates the 50th Anniversary of "Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs." The film is reissued theatrically, and Snow White gets a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

      The first Disney store opens in the Glendale Galleria, in Glendale, California.

      Disney starts the Disney Legends program; Fred MacMurray is the first to be honored.
