  • Scooby Doo gets the Loonatics treatment

    Check this out: http://www.animationmagazine.net/art...rticle_id=5342
Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get A Clue! finds the sleuthing duo living in the blinged-out mansion of Shaggy's Uncle Albert and solving mysteries with the help of a transforming Mystery Machine. By ingesting some new Scooby Snacks infused nano-technology, Scooby can fly, become a towering robot or even turn himself into a giant magnet. The top-secret doggie biscuits are also highly desired by evil masterminds, so keeping them out of the wrong hands is a full-time job for our heroes. The series is exec produced by Sander Schwartz and Joseph Barbera, co-founder of Hanna-Barbera, and produced by Eric Radomski.
    WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?
EDIT: Pictures up at Toonzone, I would have expected more EXTREME!!!111!!!piecepipes!!11!!! approach like the original Loonatics designs. http://news.toonzone.net/image.php?i...p%3FID%3D10308

Those pics make the animation just look cheap and annoying like so many other lousey cartoons.
Oh well, I won't watch it like I didn't watch Lunatics (though that's only cause I haven't been up early enough to catch that one)

Re: Scooby Doo gets the Loonatics treatment

Didn't they just try a new Scooby-Doo series recently?? I watched the first couple episodes of Loonatics, it's blah. Also same reason Kuzcochik gave, haven't been up early enough. I usually watch reruns of The Batman during the afternoon weekdays, too. But they stopped KidsWB on weekdays now! Is it because of the changeover to CW? Will weekday cartoons RETURN!? OH THE HUMANITY!

PS- the new faces on the Scooby-Doo and Shaggy character designs freak me out!!

Re: Scooby Doo gets the Loonatics treatment

I hope it fails horribly as a show. I loved Scoody as a kid and that new show just looks (and sounds like it's) pathetic.

wow.. and i thought whats new scooby doo was weird....

as isaid before.. if they get a good story.. and do it right.. it can succede.. if they dont.. then dont make it!

(No weekday cartoons cause ratings went down no matter what.. so now they have what they put on.. you can still get a lot of olde cartoons.. watch cartoon network and boomerang on Cable/dish....)
