According to Bill Cotter's guide to Disney television, the special Disneyland series episode entitled "Kodak presents Disneyland '59" cannot be found on video or film anywhere: "no known copies have been found."
The show aired live on June 15 of 1959 and covered all of the new additions to the park, including the monorail, matterhorn and other new stuff. A huge list of stars were there to highlight the event.
I've seen snippets of it in various other specials, which leads me to believe that somewhere, someone has a copy of the videotape or film.
I realize this is a long shot, but has anyone got any more info on this show?
