Tape shows rapper shot by own crew

NEW YORK, May 9 (UPI) -- The latest rapper injured during gunplay outside New York's Hot 97 radio station was actually shot in the rump by a member of his crew.

The April 26 shooting of Jamal "Gravy" Woolard was captured on videotape, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
Sources say the tape showed an unidentified member of Woolard's entourage firing a wild shot at the building, the Post said.

The tape shows someone pulled out a 9mm handgun and firing at the building without looking back, the newspaper said.

Police believe that is where the bullet that lodged in the rapper's behind came from, the newspaper said.
