    And they're not good!

    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/da_vinci_code/

Out of 106 reviews, a whopping 88 were negative! Most of the positive reviews weren't really all that positive either. Critics from around the world are calling the film a horrible adaption of the book.

I wasn't really interested in seeing it in the first place, now I'll DEFINITELY wait...

My opinion of it is that this is a movie where you leave your brain at the door and just sit back and enjoy. It won't be an academy award winner, but should be fun.
      Growing older is manditory
      Growing up is however, optional

That's the thing, it's not SUPPOSED to be a typical Summer Action/Suspense film. There's this giant controversy surrounding a movie that doesn't even stir the pot? Boo...

I guess any movie where Tom sports the mullet is not good.

According to the reviews I've read so far, that's the very problem: it takes itself seriously and doesn't end up being fun in the process.

Thanks for the heads up, I think I'll out my dough towards buying the book so I have something to entertain myself on the plane to Vegas.

Books are usually better than the movies. The lord of the rings books were better than the movies....If I read the book first I know the movie will be a let down, but I still watch them...LOL

I just saw it and I don't know what all the fuss, or bad reviews, are about.

I thought it was a fantastic adaptation from the book.. indeed it puts just about everything from the book into the movie almost perfectly.

The only things that were changed were things to make it, if anything, less contraversal.

                            I'd give it a 9 out of 10
