  • The Greatest Game Ever Played

My husband and I rented this last night and absolutely loved it!! I couldn't find another thread about it, so I didn't know if anyone else had watched it!

The little guy that played Eddie the Caddie absolutely cracked me up. The thing that really got me, is that it was a true 100% movie. They had an interview from 1963 with Francis Ouimet in the extras and he described most of the shots that he took and how he shanked this or that - it was really interesting.

If you haven't seen it, and you like golf in the least little bit - go rent it. It blew away Bagger Vance and the Bobby Jones Story and all of the other "true" golf stories I've seen.
Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

It was an exceptional film. I saw it at the El Capitian and loved it. I have considered the DVD. The extras you describe sound interesting.
