  • UK hitchhiker's trailer...

So I was cruzing the net and I found that there is a special UK trailer for the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... The UK website is below and it is under trailers...

    http://www.thefilmfactory.co.uk/hitc...ion=&datastr=&

From the looks of it, Hitchhiker fans they dumbed down the trailer for the US audliance... This film looks GOOD, and they even encorporated the old TV program music into the score... ROCKS!

I can't wait... I want it to open tomorrow!!!!!

American audiences aren't too bright. Thhese were aabsolutely briliant and much in keeping with the feel of the story. thanks for sharing.

There is actually a very similar trailer out in the US- has the same type of narrative "this is a trailer, etc" I think I saw it on Sin City (my job is to check trailers for Buena Vista and I had to look for this trailer in particular last weekend). I was hoping to see it agian this weekend- I agree it is very entertaining and got a much better response than the other US extended trailer they are showing (I was surprised by a full theater laughing and applauding for this trailer) I made a note to the boys in Burbank, so hopefully they will take the hint and show more of this trailer.

Well, I think the UK one shows a little bit more of the storyline with the clips... The US version featured the Guide as a character, and doesn't look at the story... (Something that I compained about previously...)

I think that assumption is not congruent with the plot, as the guide is something that is written and edited like any other electronic book... But I still want a Marvin action figgure... that would be cool...
